We started looking for a poly male. But first we had to add another section to the house where the cats could go outside but without fearing that they would run away. Gino put much effort in it and it was finished in no time. I am very happy with it. The cats can access it trough a small door and they can climb and play there. That way they can go out whenever they want.
We also had to prepare a room for my male because we didn’t want any unwanted pregnancies. You have to plan the pregnancy and the female has to be old enough before she may get pregnant.
Linda was also looking for a poly female and Maranda told Linda about Michele. After that Linda asked Michele if she also had a poly male for me, preferably from another bloodline than Linda’s female. And luckily she had Macgyver. Linda didn’t just look for her self but also for me. That’s what I call friendship. I got all excited. It suddenly went very fast, faster then I had expected.
I didn’t even have a PayPal account or a visa card. They asked for a first payment via PayPal, but my account wasn’t ready by that time.
That’s when I started to panic. Linda suggested to pay for me trough her PayPal account. After that I deposited the requested amount on her account. Luckily the bank informed me on the last moment that my visa card had arrived and this way I could register my own PayPal account.

What a relief. Less then a month later we could pick up our cats at the airport of Schiphol. Linda got Macy and I got Macgyver. Saturday, on the 15th of September, we got up at 4 o’clock in the morning and left the house at 5 o’clock. I was really tired because I didn’t sleep much that night. I was so excited!
At half past nine we arrived at Linda’s home. This time we didn’t made any traffic offence. The traffic rules in Holland are a bit different then the ones in Belgium. After a half an hour and a few cups of coffee we took off. It did take some paperwork, necessary stamps and payments, but after that it was just a matter of time before we got our kitten. Linda knew the steps to take so we didn’t have to look for anything. We were happy to see that both kittens were close together, each in its own cage.
My thanks go to Michele for this beautiful boy and to Linda for her mediation. Macgyver is a nice cat who likes to lie on your lap. On Monday morning he got a full check-up and everything was fine. His full name is Red River Bobis Macgyver and he is a half brother of Rowdy from Cattery Red River Bobis. He has beautiful spots, cute big poly feet and a friendly and intelligent character. It used to be only Pukkie who was eagerly waiting for her treat when we went to sleep. Now it’s Pukkie, Megan and Macgyver.
